285 Royalty-Free Audio Tracks for "Writing Sound"

Decided to call this sound "electronic modular rhythm" since i found only one other spot on the net with that combination of words. Probably is there some sort of mistake to write like that, but now we are two to make that mistake. This is straight out of the modular. No processing but amplification. Please find a part that loops nice in your ears.

Deep emotional ambient sound, for some it reminds fear, for others space, for anothers aliens or all together. This is a beat i made using the percussion presets form fab filter 1 cm synth for a track i was writing. Each hit was then loaded into abletons impulse drum sampler and tweaked for my pleasure. The snare was subject to some serious stretching,which gives it a rasping sound!fab filter 1 really is a simple but very useful synth.

A monster grunt i recorded for a horror game i'm making. Uses my voice, audacity, noise removal, and pitch changes. Could be used as an enemy sound in any type of game with creatures. The raw data is result of this command in my linux command line shell:. Cat /dev/sda1 > my_hard_drive. Then the file my_hard_drive has been imported as raw by audacity sound editing program with attributes:. Signed 16 bit pcm with no byte order 2 channels (whatever. . . ) stereo, 44100 hz. This sound differs from that which can be played just by command "cat /dev/sda1 > /dev/dsp" - this last command plays sound through speakers instead of writing a file. The sound is closer to sound of 56k modem. Later i will upload it (i've just connected line-out of sound card to it's microphone slot).

I forgot how i made this one. All i know is i used paulstretch and reverb. I love making horror sounds, ya know? but yea, again the title says it all. I've been uploading to freesound all day, so i'm out of description-writing fuel.

This is a beat that i made in the audition editing program using two free sounds: a cat purr and a water drop. I have no use for it because it's too slow for the songs i usually write. Cricket stridulating(making that funny noise that crickets make) just outside my front door, spain, summer 2015. Recorded using samsung galaxy mega phablet using 'easy voice recorder' (registered version). All complaints about the sound quality must be addressed to british gas… they are used to getting strange complaint and i don't want them.
